Mule Deer hunts are five day seasons in GMU 42, with a success rate of 95% in the last five years.  Our average buck size is 24" wide and will score around 165.  In the last few years, we have harvested several bucks scoring in the high 190's to over 200. The Rifle,Colorado area is proudly known for the Trophy Mule Deer Bucks. We offer Limited Archery, Muzzle Loader and Rifle Mule Deer Hunts. We do offer specific trophy Mule Deer Rifle hunts, available for late October and early November as Mule Deer Bucks start the rut activity.  All Mule Deer tags are available through the state's draw system.  Hunters must have applications mailed in by late March, this is a process we are glad to help you with.
